Both sides. FUUU

Had this exact surgery done on both of my big toes about 6 years ago. The anesthetic shots they give you in your toes was one of the most painful things ever. They cut all the way down to the alive, white portion of your toenail and remove all that so it doesnt grow back. Seeing this makes me cringe. Have a good recovery, bud.

I got one removed on my left foot, big toe and it was one of the most painstaking events I ever went through....AFTER it was all done. I was in pain for about a week. I feel you dude, stay off that thing for a while. This should mean more CS for you.

For what it's worth, every few months I go and get a pedicure. I'm the kind of person who likes to cut my own nails with my fingers, and most times I end up ripping half the nail off and stay in pain for about a week or so. It's a good idea to let your shit grow out really long, then have an asian pro take care of it, no F*CKING lie. Only once a few months. Keeping your feet in shape will help you out in the long run, especially if you're always on your feet or wearing combat boots every day like me.

I used to get these alot from my soccer cleats. I used to basically do this myself at home sometimes. I had sticks like the ones there and would just "roll" the nail out. Shit hurt but the feeling of it coming out afterwards was amazing.

I haven't Had An Ingrown Toenail surgery Cuz i Usually use the method of Ripping it out at home. Even 2 years ago when a Razertailed skateboards essentially cut my nail in Half at the base all i did was rip the nail out with a pair of rusty pliers, It was painful but effective. I ripped out my own ingrown toenail ONE TIME. I've handled one ingrown fingernail by myself, but would gladly do that again. Fingers aren't shit compared to toes. I would NEVER want to have to deal with an ingrown toenail again. TOEPUSS FTL.

omega, the alive part of the toenail is called the nail matrix. they cut the toenail back there then rub acetone where they want to kill the matrix to prevent toenail growth ever again. the shit thing is that if the matrix isnt done right it fucks you up worse.

How exactly do you know you have an ingrown toenail? Is it something you can tell by looking or is it because you're in constant pain?

As I feel bad for you guys .. You all are F*CKING wird... Lol..This is nasty..but I have broken ever toe.. On both my feet because of rockclimbing..
Since the shose are like 2 sizes smaller.. and I climb a lot..

I've had this done before too, shots were the worst part along with watching and feeling the doctor scrape my toenail with a little hook tool of some sort. Anyone ever had staples put in your head without being numbed first? It's awesome!

I cut my toe nails when needed...and always stand on my feet and wear shoes/socks...so sucks for you all? lol

Dude... This is godawful. I'm sorry man. I've dealt with many ingrown toenails in the past. Mostly from playing ultimate. I also, however, wear Harley boots. So it happens from that as well. Good luck to you man.
