 n00bfest paintball jersey
So ive been approached recently about creating a jersey for a member headding to the East Coast Extravaganza this november (in which it is very possible i might be attending as well) and i got to thinking after looking at a few company pricing charts. Jerseys are exceptionaly cheaper if bought in bulk, so this is my proposition for you paintballers out there: Send me a request either through email ( turkey@n00bfest.com) or PM with what kind of design you feel you want for the back. Im at work righ tnow so i cant post any pics of what im thinking, but the design scheme im going for right now are the n00bfest colors, Black with Blue lettering outlined in either blaze orange of yellow (blaze is probably cheaper and would look a little better IMO). Im going to be using a wicking, underarmor style heavy athletic fabrick so these wont be cheap shirts that rip or stain easily. For the actual shirt design, its going to be long sleave, a blue oval stripe that reaches down from the shoulder to the elbow. The front of the jersey will have the logo and the community moto. The back will have arched lettering font and basicaly be set up this way: http://www.noobfest.com. - Arched along the shoulders (back) [n00b]/[rct] "Name" - Brightly colored underneath the noob advert (back) GFX best representing name - (mid-lower back) n00bfest - motto (front) "im open to ideas to change the way the front looks" n00bfest rank *if applicable* - embroydered on the sleeve or top of shoulder. ill draw up some plans when i can and post at least a rough draft here when im done so yall can have a better idea of what im aiming for. Keep in mind too that even if you dont play ball, jerseys are super comfortable and make great sleeping shirts for you n00bettes (you F*CK your man with this thing on, he'll stay hard for hours...no lie!). The more orders i get, the cheaper the per-jersy will be. Depending on what other design features im going to add or remove, im looking at around 75-80 per jersey. This can easily be knocked down to around 50-60 per if i get enough orders in. if the design is good enough, ill see about adding it to n00bmart. Ill keep you posted.

 Re: n00bfest paintball jersey
yeah ill talk to him. thing is, i was kinda wishing to get something more than just a plain t-shirt. im not a big fan of welts and im a big guy....meaning if i do an epic Max Payne slide while headshotting some nubs, i dont want my shit to rip or get too heavily stained. not to mention that i sweat alot.
they are more expensive but i think in the long run, it would look nicer and make n00bfest look that much better. i dont know, I'll talk it over with Strange while I give him a reach around.

 Re: n00bfest paintball jersey
PLEASE give these guys a look. They make custom jerseys and DAMN do they look good. They'll be probably in the range of $40-$60 but I honestly think that these would be the way to go because a.) you can put custom designs and logos on your jersey, b.)you get a free custom team banner if we buy more than 6 and c.) they're real jerseys that are really nice in quality. http://www.razalife.com/paintball/semi-customThis is the choice of jerseys we get to choose from. These are all the customizable ones: http://www.razalife.com/paintball/products/jerseys?p=1

 Re: n00bfest paintball jersey
Raza will be 60 bucks a jersey. If you want a name on it, 5$, if you want a number on it, 5$. If you want anything else on it, 5$.
If you want a Jersey that says just 'n00bfest' on it, 60$. Not really a fan.

Also, they don't do bulk discounts for semi-custom jerseys.

 Re: n00bfest paintball jersey
Another site I found is this: http://www.customink.com/You can select a jersey type shirt and do your own thing there too. I'll call around when I'm at home tomorrow. If anyone else has any suggestions, please post them along with what you want to be wearing to this event.

 Re: n00bfest paintball jersey
well thats the thing: either we get a jersey or we get a t-shirt. Personally, I'd rather have a real jersey. But I understand that not everyone is as hardcore into paintball as I am and some people don't want to put that much money out on a jersey.

 Re: n00bfest paintball jersey
to be honest, i think everyone participating in the even should have matching jerseys. ill draw up another design for t-shirts but i think the ones in n00bmart already cover that. i dont think its more of a hardcore into the sport kind of thing, god knows im not, but a real jersey would make one hell of a souvinere.
to me, this is a bad assed event for us to get together and have a kick ass time, but also to give some exposure on the community to outside sources. the more swave we look, the better the impression others will have on n00bfest. i dont think that can happen if one or two of us have this snazzy jersey and the rest have an equally snazzy but cheaper looking t-shirt. just like in the army, uniformity enhances perception.

 Re: n00bfest paintball jersey
Uniformity absolutely enhances perception. We absolutely need to all have the exact same shirts, be they jerseys or long sleeve t-shirts with the same decals and designs on them.

 Re: n00bfest paintball jersey
now thats not saying that i wont be down to make special designs for others who dont wanna spend the time doing it themselves. i have no problem with that one, i just think that at least the participating team members need a uniformized look.
Adam, im still waiting for those images.

 Re: n00bfest paintball jersey
I agree - I definitely think it would be best if everyone wore the same thing. Now, I'm not very handy with all this (I've never actually ironed anything onto a jersey or anything like that), but like I discussed with Strange, I'd be more than happy to pay for it and have it shipped to someone who would do what needed to be done with it. As soon as we get in agreement on what we want to wear, I'll gladly put the purchase in.

 Re: n00bfest paintball jersey
yeah, same, Fugly. I just want us all to be absolutely uniform when it came to shirts/jerseys. There were several teams there last year that all had matching attire, and those teams were talked about nonstop. Also, those were the people you noticed the most, without a doubt. The more you stand out as a team and look the part, the more people talk about you and the more people recognize you. I saw it firsthand. If we all have the same jerseys, people will get hella curious and ask who those n00bfest people are, and then they'll check out our website, and then they'll find that we're a huge gaming community and we're branching into other aspects of team play, and then magically we have tons of new members saying how they saw us at the paintball tourney and wanted to know what we were all about.
Long story short, the better we look reppin' n00bfest and the more uniform we all are, the better off n00bfest will be as a whole.

 Re: n00bfest paintball jersey
Ok, so we're clear. There is no question that our jerseys will be the same, so we can stop talking about that. We need to all agree on a jersey and hell maybe even some pants. (I just wear BDUs.)

 Re: n00bfest paintball jersey
Couple of options we currently have. http://www.razalife.com/paintball/semi-custom <- While nice and awesome, then base jersey is $60, and it's $5 for anything extra n00bfest store <- Long sleeve shirt for 24.99. I'm going to play around with iron on materials so see which paper/material works best and make the jerseys. http://www.customink.com/. <- If you remember the champion brand jerseys from football, etc. We can get those customized as well, need to research this one a bit more though. http://www.animalpaintball.com/custom_showcase.html. <- Same as raza and just as expensive it looks like. Those are the options we've found. Please voice your opinion on the options.

 Re: n00bfest paintball jersey
Getting something too flashy will make us bigger targets in a wooded area...but making it ghetto will reflect on the team as well. We gotta keep it classy but affordable for the folks that can't spend a lot of cash on a shirt.
That being said, remember, you'll be able to reuse these when we're done with this event, so make it something awesome that'll be remembered.
