Thanks for the links omega. For all you guys who don't know, the color of the moon (brown/redish) shows that light bends around objects. Light actually has mass (however small it is) and is affected by the earth's gravitational pull and hits the moon, despite it being behind the earth. I find this fascinating, so I thought I'd share :)

This is bullshit. The one week there's a storm in southern california and you can't see shit is of course the time of the eclipse.

Thanks! Glad you like'em. I took a ton of different exposure times to suit everyone's viewing pleasure :P

The greatest thing about this particular lunar eclipse was that it's the first winter solstice eclipse since the 1600's. I think the next one doesn't come around until another four-hundred years.
