I don't condone any of the shit. I think it's all F*CKING retarded. Furthermore, when I see people talking about servicemembers getting drunk while on-duty/tour/etc, it reminds me of all the privates getting AR-15's getting reduced in rank down to nothing because of it. You have retarded people everywhere, not just in the streets... but in the Army/Navy/Air Force/Marines, and because SSG Dickwad chooses to be an idiot and let his platoon or squad drink while on tour doesn't mean all of the forces do. Normally that's all civilians hear about because that's all we have to tell. I think that spice is deadly and more addictive than pot, but there's no point in me pushing an argument because everyone wants pot legalized, and wants to defend it's contributions to the United States. I don't think the benefits of legalizing ANY drug outweigh the consequences of people going high or drunk to work. But getting high and getting drunk are two totally different things -- and shouldn't be compared with each other when talking about legalization, so I'll stop at that.

Not much is going to change. The people that smoke pot are still going to do it; they just don't have to hide it anymore if it becomes legal. Just because it's legal to drink or smoke cigarettes (or weed) doesn't mean that everyone is doing it. Just because people can go to Dunkin' Donuts and get fried sugary bread doesn't mean everyone is eating it. There are consequences for everything, some people make dumb choices and face them.

This whole spice thing is new to me. I've never even heard of it until I read this post. The mental problems don't stem from the drug, they stem from the reason people decide to take drugs in the first place. They are bored and unhappy with their lives. What follows is depression and then the end result. People either wake up and do something else with their life or they keep falling deeper and deeper into depression.

That made me LAWL.... Pot isnt addictive in its self at all. You can become dependant on ANYTHING but pot doesnt have the properties of an addictive drug such as coke or heroin. Caffeine is more of a drug than pot ever will be.

Next, I have SEEN guys rage while on pot. Some people it just sends them the opposite way from most people. Who knows why? The good thing is, most people who know it has that effect on them don't keep smoking. They say things like "no thanks, that stuff gets me ramped up".

Dirk I agree, pot is probably better for you than every form of synthetic, but what about people who fear random piss tests? Spice is not a controlled substance, that is why people are turning to it. Not because its better, most people use it so they can smoke and not loose their job, or go to jail for smoking in public....

just wait till the labs who do urinalysis include spice in their tests before it actually gets regulated, or add a 3rd column for "not yet regulated drugs" and check the box

dont see why they would test for other substances that are legal, they dont look for how many tylenols you took

also, it turns out a chemist/pot user did some testing on rats with this stuff (JWH-018). it has a half life of 2 hours in plasma, which means within 5 hours, it is gone from your system.

another thing, there are currently 2 labs that can detect trace amounts only in urine in the US. the govt, army and people who are against getting high have good reason to want it illegal, this is the first "legal bud" that is virtually undetectable, is legal in almost all 50 states still, and can be bought basically everywhere. shit, i saw a gas station run by dune coons who had that shit for sale.

what they will run into here soon is imposter shit. spice that is tainted by other drugs or doesnt have the real drug in it at all. that is when the shit will hit the fan with this stuff imo.
