Nothing beats classics like Richard Pryor live. A great comic who made jokes about his own drug induced lifestyle.



A more current favorite comic is Nick Swordson. He doesn't do a ton of stand up but when does I love it. (nick is the car bed guy from Grandma's Boy & terry the gay prostitute from Reno 911)


Dane Cook, Jeff Duhnam & that Mexican guy are terrible.

Bob Marley, he's a local guy and he plays the funny cop in the Boondock Saints movies. He came to my school once and picked on me for a half hour because I was still wearing rain gear when I sat in the audience, umbrella and FroggToggs.

Joe Rogan is awesome as well. I listen to his podcast whenever I can and its some of the funniest shit. Basically he gets really F*CKING high with like 2-3 other people and they talk about pretty much anything. I listen to it alot since Joe talks alot about the UFC, which im a huge fan of, since hes one of their lead ringside announcers.

I hate Jeff Dunham. His bits are so lame. I think my hate for Carlos Mencia is far greater though.

Carlos menstealia is a bitch. Joe Rogan called him out in person and proved it. He even stole from that bill cosby sketch Kwang linked, the football player and his dad part. My buddy saw Dunham here in Hartford CT and he was SMASHED on the stage. He said it was probably one of the funniest things hes ever seen.

Lol, yeah I saw that video when Rogan called Mencia out. I can't stand that "de da deee" bullshit.

Mencia still draws crowds because he's very formulaic.

I honestly do not see why there is so much hate for Dane cook.. Perhaps it's one of those it's cool to be different and hate that guy things, like being a dem. Nick s. Has the same type of humor as cook, and I must agree, his standup is F*CKING awesome.

I like Dane Cook...in the movie "Waiting" and a few bits here and there but that's about it.

Dane Cook was hyped up way to much. Nick and Dane do have very similar styles. I think that they both are better off acting than doing stand up. Nick's characters are F*CKING brilliant. Nick has a new show coming to Comedy Central on October 12 and it looks good.
