n00b referrals: 8 (9) n00b donation total = $40 (45)

So a lot of you know I started working at Geico this week and so far it's awesome. One of the great promotions they are running now is the Cash for Quotes program. Basically I ask my friends and family to get a quote from Geico either through the phone or the Geico website and I get $15 per quote. I've done it several times and it literally takes less than 15 minutes per quote.

I've only had the opportunity to donate to n00b once and I'd really like a chance with all of your help to give something back to n00b so for every referral I get from n00b I want to donate $5 back to n00b. There are a ton of n00bs here and I know we could raise a lot of money together.

Done, it's funny because that quote is more expensive than what we currently pay through Geico...well, maybe not funny like haha, meh, whatever.

I'm surprised by how low it was actually. I used to have Geico but moved to liberty mutual with my dad techincally owning the car a 19 year old being the main really drove the price up. At that time liberty mutual offered me 50% off what I was paying at Geico, so I jumped ship. The quote I just did came in very similar under my own name, so I'll be really interested to see what it is if my dad's the main.

Second I just did it and I think i will be dropping allstate and switching it is much lower than my current plan that im on which is really my dads plan so his must be dirt cheap. I will do it with my mom, dad, and sister tomorrow.

Our policy is in my wife's name though.
