i have been playing this a bit with a buddy of mine, it is lots of fun. there is also a way to make it an FPS but cant figure it out even tho i have the commands because it keeps resetting the commands saying that sv_cheats needs to be enabled, bastards. also, there are a bunch of free maps u can download to add to the fun of the game, but be warned, u can only level up in the official maps (my buddy didnt tell me so im still only lvl 5 or 6)

its really easy to lvl up u get like 5 or 6 lvls every game u play so....

yea, but i havent played on the official mapsd for more than a few minutes at a time, bad timing. every time i get on to play, either my buddy doesnt have long,. or i dont have long, plus ive had some issuesw with it so i havent played it that much. plus, the first 2 or 3 times i played were on hard, which was a huge mistake cause i didnt have any clue how to play so i died really really fast, but no i got the hang of it a little better and will do well.

ya its hard at 1st but when u did the hang of it its easy and really fun lol.

Yeah, theres infestation on level 1, it's hard as F*CK.

o, another thing is i found a website with a huge list of console commands and explanations for alien swarm, and a set of the commands (2 i think, maybe 3) were something about adding an ai director like l4d2 and allowing the ai director to spawn enemies. even on easy it was RIDICULOUS!! if any1 knows what an ai director is, please explain. it sounds like something that controls the amount of enemies and their difficulty based on the abilities of the players, but not sure

i probably cant beat it on easy. i mean, im not horrible at the game, but im not good either. and until now, i only had 1 other buddy who played so we had 2 random nignogs in the server who usually sucked. 1 of them kept team attacking me, so i tk'd him, and than next round, b4 i could get every1 to kick him he tk'd me and 1 other guy. so i shut the server down, lol.

On insane there is everything on the 1st lvl i thank and it takes 3hrs to beat cuz ur going to die alot lol.

so I dl'd it I'll prob play tonight but it sounds like a rpg/fps in one am I rite?
