 Anyone here into Punk???
I never asked as it seemed no one ever mentioned it but anyone here into punk? I'm in San Fran right now and I just found out Sick of It All is playing next week and now my dick hurts because its so F*CKIN hard right now. For some reason I've never gotten around to seeing them, this is going to be F*CKIN awesome!!

 Re: Anyone here into Punk???
OH man Kwang, I used to love Lagwagon! Punk is making quiet the come back in the midwest. My friends band signed about a year ago to Kiss of Death Records which is a HUGE lable. They are coming out with their second vinyl (and cd) soon. http://www.myspace.com/armsaloftforeverIf anything check em out. It would be interesting to see if Midwestern punk is much different from the coasts.

 Re: Anyone here into Punk???
Lagwagon - May 16th is their best song
I havent listened to hatebreed in ages....
never heard of the other 2
I've always loved Pennywise, NoFX, Rancid, and pretty much all the old school groups. In college I met some friends and their favorite bands were Homegrown and Millencolin so I listened to them a lot throug college and I've seen Homegrown at least 3 times in concert and they never get old.

You ever hear the NoFX/Rancid split EP?
I also like bands such as Fifteen and Me First and The Gimme Gimmes.

I also like bands such as Fifteen and Me First and The Gimme Gimmes. I was just looking at that NoFX/Rancid EP yesterday over at Amoeba Records by Berkeley lol Whenever I'm able to do it I'll be collecting old punk albums like that one

 Re: Anyone here into Punk???
Their all good, I'll always love Pennywise becuz I practically grew up listening to them (along with Public Enemy, lol i know right?) it's going to be weird listening to them now with a new frontman and different sound but I'm sure I'll still love them.
LOL@sum41, but hey their still a great band. I saw them years ago with Authority Zero and it was one of the best live shows I've ever been to.

The closest I get to punk is Thrice, and Daft Punk. Yeah, pun totally intended.
