I dont blame the head referee. There is 4 refs in total with the lineman of course calling offsides and fouls. He probably saw an offiside and raised his flag. It happens and theres nothing you can do about it. I rewatched the game twice and noticed something. the ref may have called an offised on one of the american players. he was offside for a moment then went back on only to turn around and try for the ball. he didnt touch it but the ref may have called the offsides on that which is shitty considering your only offisides in that situation if you play the ball.

If it was on Bradley for offsides it wasn't because he was being pushed by the Slovenian defender (who had his arm around his body). The ref stated it was a foul on the US - but I never saw one, and neither did the majority of vieweres including the analysts.

On top of that, speculation has it that FIFA is going to remove this ref from the rest of the upcoming matches this world cup. I say good riddance!

On the US team. I dont think they have the defense to stand up with some of the bigger teams. They have holes so big you could park a trailer home in them. If they end up playing argentina, who i think will be warmed up by next round, they'll get destroyed by the plays messi and them are capable of. They need to spread out and stop bunching up when they are dropping back to position. They can score some good goals but i just dont see them succeeding coming into the later rounds.
