You guys own some of this...Worth it?
So all this week i've been working at this place called Nissin. I'm guaranteed to be working through friday and probably monday. It's a major distributor for Sharp electronics parts. I get payed next Friday(2 days after my birthday so I can save money I woulda spent on beer haha.) I'm just wondering if these are good choices. I've heard a lot of you talk about how you love your Razer mouse and all that. So I figured since mine is starting to F*CK up(and my mouse pad just makes shit stick since it's so old.) i'll get one while I have the money. Also the mic on my headphones never really worked. All the settings are as high as they can go and people can barely hear me, so I figured it's just this piece of shit headset haha(Unless anyone has suggestions?) So there was this offer on Amazon, for a Razer Mousepad, Keyboard and Mouse. It ends up saving about $20 so I am just gonna go for it. I figured most of you have had experience with some of this shit so I wanted your input as to how you like them and if it is worth the money. It ends up being $157 for all of it(wich includes a couple movies, so probably around $145-$150.) I don't want to pay any more than this, or else I would have chosen a Razer headset and all that fancy shit. I'm just replacing things that are either already fucked up or are showing signs. Since I don't know when the next time this employment agency will have me working again. Mouse Pad: http://www.amazon.com/Razer-Goliathus-O ... LFXTH6SQBD... Mouse: http://www.amazon.com/Razer-Deathadder- ... LFXTH6SQBD... Keyboard: http://www.amazon.com/Razer-Lycosa-Prog ... LFXTH6SQBD... Headset: http://www.amazon.com/Koss-sb45-SB-45-C ... LFXTH6SQBD... Also on the working note. My work ethic has been impressing a lot of the supervisors. When they need help at Nissin, they specifically ask for me . So tomorrow i'm going to talk to my supervisor about possible job openings. Cuz they don't have many people working there and they can't keep up with everything. So why not? It's the kind of job I like anyways. Hard work with cool people. Go home sticky as F*CK from sweating, but you're satisfied with yourself :). EDIT I also learned how to pick up a dime with a forklift today. It's a whole lot easier than I thought. Sorry for blabberin, just had a good day!

Re: You guys own some of this...Worth it?
So wich one would you reccomend ? I'm looking at those bigger ones with cussions because i'm tired of my ears hurting from normal ones haha. http://www.amazon.com/Plantronics-Audio ... 877&sr=8-9.. http://www.amazon.com/Plantronics-GAMEC ... 877&sr=8-8.. http://www.amazon.com/Plantronics-GameC ... pd_sim_e_3. No matter what headphones I get, I won't be disapointed. They can't be worse than mine. Mine make my ears constantly hurt after 30 minutes and don't work to well in the first place.

I have the Razer Imperator and absolutely love it. And I agree with Mindless, Go ahead and get a platronics. Or just goto bestbuy and look at the headsets there

Re: You guys own some of this...Worth it?
Personally, I'm on the same page as Strange on this one, G5 all the way. I've had mine for over a year and it works just as good as it did the day I bought it. However, if you're looking to save money and get good sound and reliable quality get these. Those are the ones I have and I love them...the mic is super sensitive, mic turned up 10% and it's still loud as hell but that might have something to with my X-Fi external sound card. If you're looking to spend the extra cash you DEFINITELY can't go wrong with these. let me know what you decide on.

Ok Deathadders rock i ♥ mine, http://www.amazon.com/Razer-Deathadder-Precision-Infrared-Gaming/dp/B002Q4U5DK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1279201294&sr=8-1the goliathus control is awesome im glad i got the biggest size, http://www.amazon.com/Razer-Goliathus-Alpha-Control-Fragged/dp/B002R0DX0U/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1279201319&sr=1-2the logitech G15 with LCD is by far the most useful vent tool ever since i can see whos talking in scrims,( i have the old version) thats the new one--> http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G15-Gaming-Keyboard-Black/dp/B000UHE8YM/ref=dp_ob_title_ce For a headset my recommendation and i say this with prior knowledge from reading and scouring the web for the ultimate gaming headphones. Get the Audio-Techina ATH-AD700 http://www.amazon.com/Technica-ATH-AD700-Open-air-Audiophile-Headphones/dp/B000CMS0XU/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1279201457&sr=1-1 I use them and they are superior in hearing every little thing on the map and not just hearing them but actually knowing exactly where they are (amazing soundstaging) then all you gotta do is get a zalman clipon mic(15 bucks) like i do and BAM ultimate gaming headset no joke.

I always thought those LCD screens were cool, but not worth the extra money to me.

I've played with the Death Adder. Not a fan. But you like your mouse to weigh 50 lbs!

Re: You guys own some of this...Worth it?
So I figured out what i'm going to try and get. I'm still not sure how much money i'm actually going to get paid, or be able to keep. I don't know how much i'm gonna give my dad for a lot of reasons(gas for driving me there, rent, cell phone etc.) So we'll see if I have enough. Or I might just order it all and give him the rest. If anything i'll just get the headphones and mouse. But this is what i've decided on. I can get them all from the same company, so the shipping wont be to horrible. Also that company has the cheapest prices so it works out. Headset: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001PT ... 5WMKNRFKQS" Mouse: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002Q4 ... 5WMKNRFKQS" Keyboard: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000YD ... 5WMKNRFKQS"

Re: You guys own some of this...Worth it?
I have that. But the place i'm buying from is selling each item for a lot cheaper. I already added both up and it's cheaper to go the route i'm taking. I usually go with free 2 day shipping to save money :)
