 University of Texas Has any of you guys graduated from University of Texas or know anything about it?
I'm looking to get into a graduate Biomedical engineering program, and it seems that the only colleges in the DFW area that have that program are:
University of Texas, Dallas
or
University of Texas, Arlington / UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas
Any comments or suggestions? I'm kinda torn between trying to stay in texas and returning to MI to get my degree.

Re: University of Texas They're not bad schools, but then again they're sister schools to UT. I would say that it would be fine to get a degree and a job, but if you want more prestige then I would check out UT austin or even Texas A&M.
Baylor has a good med program too

From what I've read it seems that the UT Medical Center in Dallas is one of top research centers for Biomedical research in the USA. I was just wondering if any of you guys could confirm it based on personal experience.

Re: University of Texas We have (I think) the #1 undergrad BME dept in the nation but I'm not sure about the grad. I know we just built a HUGE ass building for the BME department, so a TON of stuff is happening.

I am probably going be doing my masters also here in EE next year.
I wouldn't mind finding a 2BR so I can save some $$$
