who knows about fish? I've been eating more and more lately. I have some type of fish about 5days out of the week. Anyone know which I should stay away if I'm eating it this much? I was wondering about the whole mercury thing. I think I'll be fine, but I thought I'd get some other oppinions. Thanks ♥

where are you getting the fish?

the store. a mix between the fish stand, tuna, frozen. It varies. My roomates going to be fishing again soon too, so I'll have fresh as well.

Eating that much of anything is unhealthy.

you should stay away from fish with oil on them. ive heard theres some sort of oil spill in the gulf or something and its F*CKIN with the wildlife

i believe they advise you to not eat fish, because of the possibility of traces of mercury, if you're pregnant or old. outside of that, i think you're fine. fish is good for ya.

I eat Tuna, Kingfish, Snapper, Sea Bass, Grouper, Lobster, Oysters, Tilapia, Trout, Sailfish, and Porpous. I've lived in Florida most of my life right next to the Atlantic. I used to go fishing on a weekly basis and eat what I catch. I just went out today and caught four snapper. I don't give a F*CK about mercury. Fish is good. Pregnant women should moderate their intake of Tuna, but the mercury levels in fish are not high enough to cause such a problem with someone your age. Fish contain iodine which is good for leveling out chemical balance in the thyroid, and fish oils are good for the heart and skin, which are also sold in most stores like Publix and the like as a heart/dietary supplement.

I love fishing the Long island sound. Big ass Bluefish that make awesome dinner after marinating in cajun spice, lemon,salt/pepper, little lime juice and thyme. Grill it for an hour after a whole night in the fridge and it comes out amazing.

make sure the fish you eat is covered with this stuff that looks like hersheys on it. kinda like oil tarish stuff. its really good for you.
