So here's the situation:

My webhost for the last 4 years is starting to be a dick. Recently they changed their policies to be more marketing friendly and started advertising "unlimited website hosting." Apparently the "unlimited" policy overrides grandfathered, limited accounts. Before I was able to use my bandwidth as I saw fit, as long I I kept under X GB on the server and used less than Y TB per month. Now they've added a new rule: all content hosted on their servers cannot be used on websites from another provider.

This is a completely unacceptable condition for me, so I've decided I'm not renewing my hosting agreement.

So do you guys have any recommendations on webhosts who provide relatively un-regulated hosting services? My idea is that if I pay for 80 gb of space and 1000 gb of bandwidth I can do as I damn well please with it.

You have to look at the EULA's and whatnot and find out which plan is the most lenient, but if you decide to go with them lemme know and I'll send you a referral link (so we get credit on our acct).

I'm also with jagpc, they're pretty decent.
The only other hosting company I would ever consider is www.inmotionhosting.com
It's a bit more expensive, but they have awesome support.

I like the wal mart of web hosts, godaddy. They've treated me right consistently. And they don't spam me with shit.
