its pretty intense. i thought it would be just alright because I considered myself to be in really good shape and work out a lot more than most people but p90x can really kick your ass. I only did the plyo one to complement my weight lifting but it was definitely challenging.

I have Insanity too but havent tried it yet.

after i move i'm gonna try both before i start hitting the weights and getting my weight back and see what happens.

You saw me Vision, I'm not FAT, but I'm gonna be RIPPED when this is done, abs like none other!!!! I'm already used to high intensity workouts with my job, so that will help, I'm sure. Only hitch will be about 3 weeks where I can't work out much, if at all because of my neck surgery, but I'm gonna get a good start on this this month leading up to it. Anyone who has done this, including you, Vision, please feel free to give me any tips you found helpful, I'm gathering my support group!

P90X is for those who dont make excuses for themselves and don't half-ass everything in their life.

Its designed to accomodate everyone including big people to weightlifters.

However much you put into it is what your going to get out of it. You give it 100% effort and you'll definitely see results.

It's also available on the Demon along with Insanity which is more geared to cardio/conditioning.

ok next question do you need lots of gear to do this workout?

Nope. Theraband, a few hand weights, a pull up bar and possibly push up bars and a mat so you don't kill your knees. Oh, and a recovery drink, protein/creatine. That's the best part, you don't need a gym of equipment. Of course, the DVDs cost, but it's worth it. I've been wanting to do it for a long time, and then 2 things happened...one good friend sent me pics of her results and she looks AMAZING, just ripped to SHREDS. Went from 25% body fat to 18%, which for a woman is like a guy being at 2%. And another friend just became a coach for the system. That was all the motivation I needed. I'll let you all know if I puke after the first workout, lol. Google it, you'll see A LOT out there on it.

I try to lift weights at least once a day so I dont get get fat from playing cs all the time but my cardio sucks takes me like 9min to run the mile so would this help improve my cardio?

YES. There is a hell of a lot of cardio associated with this program.

Like Pinky said you need some stuff, mainly a couple dumbbells and a pullup bar.

Insanity has different goals and focuses around at home cardio/plyo workouts and you don't need anything.
