Post The Original Nintendo!
So my gf was getting rid of a bunch of her crap in her closet and she has this old Nintendo entertainment system (the very first nintendo). She said it didn't work but i took it anyways. Ive seen computer fish bowls/computer kegs and other tech stuff that you gut out to make something out of. I wanted to know if anyone has any ideas of what i can do with the case of it? Any ideas?

Ok. So ive decided to gut out the NES console to create a lunchbox and im taking apart the controller to make a belt buckle. Both are pretty easy to do i just have to go down to Ace hardware and grab some things. Ill have pictures up soon!

I've been dying to do this for some time. I still have my nintendo but it's in perfect working order, I don't even have to blow my cartridges!!!! So I'm going to buy a broken one off ebay for like $10 and build it someday.....

yeah, i would see if you can fix it, so it works. then keep it for another 10-20 years and it will be a high-priced "antique".

I had an NES but I played Sega Genesis the most out of all my systems. Until I discovered Zelda for the N64.

Just cuz it's cheap doesn't mean it's the worst idea of them. Shit i'de rather make a lunchbox out of a gamecube and show it off than conseal an old nintendo computer under my desk. People are gonna see the lunchbox all the time. But unless you know a lot of people that always look at your computer it's not gonna get seen as much(Not saying it's a stupid idea, cuz if I had the money to do it you bet I would!)

But Zuol make the opening game compartment it's own sealed off compartment a little bit bigger than the size of a sandwich.
