 Orianthi & Steve VaiI heard that girls new song on the radio when I drive around for work and wondered who did the guitar riffs for such a poppy song. When I searched for her video I found this one along with it. If any of you like me who didn't think it was her playing the guitar in the song this video will delight you, the girl can play!

Re: Orianthi & Steve Vai its ridiculous how much she takes from Vai's style. Only one person can sound like Vai, and thats Vai. I like to think that one can have their own unique style with pieces and parts similar to other guitarists' style while still retaining a one-of-a-kind sound. Shit, look at Guthrie Govan: he takes huge influence from Vai, Satch, Albert Lee, Greg Howe and Joe Pass, but he manages to make his own style so unique because of the technique he uses (his chromaticism (omg, so beautifully jazzy), angular scalar runs, those crazy F*CKING legato arpeggios, etc.)
