This thing is basically an iPhone without the phone upsized; or an iPod Touch with 3G connectivity.

not as good as expected but i plan on adding this to my apple collection.... mostly for traveling and the shitter!

another "cool" gadget for people to waste money on... thanks apple. thing is about as worthless as an asshole on my elbow.

I am dissing it now, but have a feeling I'll be shelling out for it once I get my hands on one.

Though, I usually wait for 2nd gen apple products.

I wouldnt need the 3g, since my current phone has a hack to act as a wireless hotspot (without the carrier knowing).

I'm much more excited about the boxee box.

This thing serves almost no purpose, especially priced at $829 fully loaded. My $500 Android phone will put that to shame.

P.S. The size of the screen is cool, but not nearly cool enough to spend 800 bucks on or even 600 or w/e the basic ones price was.

what does the extra money get you? ability to run 'apps'? multi-touchscreen that's gonna get fingerprints all over it? big F*CKIN deal. not to mention you can't run multiple applications at once. no music while surfing the web, no wikipedia while writing an essay. failure of a product.

i'd rather pay less for a real keyboard, usb slots, an sd card slot, more powerful cpu, bigger screen, compatibility, capability... Shit, i payed $580 for my refurbished HP 17" laptop. these F*CKERS start at $499 (16g drive)

Every one knows the only good apple product was the iPod, and that wasn't even that innovative. This touch screen computer isn't innovative either, look at the tablet PC. People are just going to buy it because of the brand.

The best invention apple had was the iPod touch because of the wifi connectivity.

The phone is mediocre, the Ipad is utterly worthless.

I bought a $350 Asus EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEee pc netbook and that thing is the F*CKING shit. If I ever boost the ram to the 2gb I could run 1.6, probably promod. AND IT'S GOT A KEYBOARD. F*CK.


I really, really hate apples. Unfortunately everyone at my school is rich and stupid with computers unless they're in CS. So they're like omg I bet my apple is better than your HP HDX18 that has a SSD hard drive and 8gb ram etc etc, that only cost $450 more than my dual core piece of shit with 4gb of ram and absolutely no gaming ability.
