help for old american muscle cars
hey guys, i've seen that some of you knew a lot about cars, my father is looking forward to buy an old american muscle car '65-'75, and he asked me to look for old cars, good quality and fair price where i live.
the thing is, i dont know much about cars and a lot less about old cars, if you guys could give me some hints on which car could be good or what is important to know about old cars i would apreciate it. thanks alot

Re: help for old american muscle cars
my dad used to own a Nova SS when he was younger (like 25 years ago) but he crashed with it and the car was totaled... im trying to find the exact same nova, but it's kinda hard to find 1 in good condition (or just not THAT bad) or is not too expansive

Re: help for old american muscle cars
The most sought after is probably one of the late 60's camaros.
Some good ones that I know: -SS (super sport) -Camaro -Barracuda? Dunno I know people like this -Charger -Mustang (I dunno what year but there's one from awhile ago that looks sexy as fuck- like from the movie gone in sixty seconds, that bitch is F*CKING hot and this parenthesis is going way too long the only way to make it longer is to type in fomenta [I typed formenta because I can't read. Clearly there's no "r" in his name, but I'm too dumb to realize that. Please stab me in the face. Also, I just got owned by a wordfilter.] because that's funny as shit.)
You could always build a kit cobra.

Re: help for old american muscle cars
You will have a hard time finding a good one up here in Canada since the salt in winter has rusted most to shit. My Mom and step-father used to collect old muscle cars and drag race them. They would buy them in the states and bring them up because there was a better market for them in the warmer states like Arizona was a favorite of theres. My fav was the '69 Chevelle with the modified 350 under the hood. Though I did like the '62 Corvette they had aswell.

I wish I help you, may be teach about automobiles. Again, I correct you. 2JZ-GTE is no V6, this engine inline 6. No Supra ever included V6. May be I sell you this is 2JZ-GE spare I have, it running previously before a park the dune buggy. With this, may be you learn, and also, building engine for project.

Also, the Mustang you're talking about is the Shelby GT500. A cheap one in running condition would be $50,000. Show-class ones go for $250,000+. Also, Mr_Jeep, you can't take Env seriously. He's one of those "I read a ricer-racing forum post that a 14 year-old wrote about it so now I'm an expert on the matter" types.

I didn't know the exact year so I just went with what I knew :). The guy down the street from my parents house is buying a '67 actually. I could ask him about it if you really want me to. Also, EnV I laugh every time I read a post you write about a car.

So you know absolutely nothing about any cars, but you do read threads about all other types of cars to contribute that ricers are the best? Nice.

He wasn't quoting what i said. I quoted what he thought of what type of person i am which is completely wrong.

Okay, since it's Christmas, I'm going to be nice and force the clue train to make a stop in Dumb (Population: You).
You claim to love ricemobiles.
Gman clearly stated that you are the kind of asshole who will read the absolute lowest common denominator of information about a ricemobiles and then spout off about it.
Your response walked you right out in the open field of "I don't know shit about shit, but I still act like it."
I took the shot.
It was a headshot.
You are dead.
QED, bitch.

Re: help for old american muscle cars
I don't act like i know it all. because i can easily say i don't, I'm still learning a lot about cars. But when i refer to cars and talk about them and the people who know F*CK all about them are listing, automatically think i know a lot. But than when i make a mistake in what im talking about you take the opportunity to jump on it like a gay guys asshole and try to milk it.
I love cars, its my hobby. Im not gonna say i know shit all about shit, nor am i going to say im the King in knowing everything and anything about cars, because i never have, you just assume i do because i throw out names and numbers that many of you got no clue wtf im talking about unless you Google it. But i can tell you that i know a hell of a lot more than just the norm of how cars operate. And more into the import scene obviously because i don't like american for a number of reasons.
