if they let him bleed to death then it would make too much sense and save the taxpayers money, and no one in the gov't wants to do that. they pay the police to stop him and shoot him; they pay the EMT's and doctors to save his life; they pay the lawyer(s), DA, and judge to run him through court; they pay guards in jail to watch his ass while he gets fed 3 meals a day while in jail/prison; then they pay someone to kill him while people watch.

Sad what happened at Ft. Hood. However there's got to be more to this. From the moment I heard the news to this point I have gotten conflicting stories as to what happened at Ft. Hood, specifically there was multiple gunmen and the main shooter was either dead or alive. We put him through the system to make sure HE is the one to punish. Who knows, that extra dollar could be used to find ALL responsible in this massacre. At least this didn't happen in New York where the responsible might be sentenced to 25 to Life and get out in 6 for good behavior. Again my heart goes out to those victimized in the Ft. Hood shooting.

I have a few other suggestion that might be considered torture if in fact he was the shooter.

They should have just let him bleed out, either that or just give him back to the army

How many completely white, completely caucasian, completely christian, completely batshit insane soldiers have fragged their superiors, fellows, or both over the years? Fragging as recent as 2005, and probably even more, more recently, that have gone un-reported or covered up.

In Vietnam, another crazy-ass war, fragging was in the HUNDREDS, year after year. Is this at all applicable to the recent shooting? Since we're talking about excluding a whole class of people based on the actions of 2, I'm arguing that it is.

This guy is a fucktard. But he's not a fucktard because he's muslim. He's a fucktard cause he murdered people in cold blood. He happened to be muslim and shout something religious just before he believed he'd be ending his life. How many "righteous christians" who've gone on similar sprees have prayed before or after? I'd wager more than a few.

This isn't some goddamn conspiracy. It's another senseless mass murder done by a crazy twat who saw some other mass murders on TV and thought to himself "wow, I could do that too". Don't buy into the fear-based media (and government, and religious) hype that would have you believe it's anything more, at least not until some hard, non-manufactured evidence shows the opposite.

That said, extremists of any religion or worldview need to be sent to an island somewhere so they can kill each other off, or learn to live together with some respect. I firmly believe that one can only be extremist if they isolate themselves socially from ANYONE of opposing viewpoints.

Lastly, I have friends & family in or going to/coming from overseas in the military. 99.999% of all soldiers do what's called "soldiering" even if they would rather stay home getting fat and watching TV like the rest of us. This guy, and all other F*CKING insane fraggers, muslim or not, are F*CKING babies. When we come up with the correct profile for keeping F*CKING babies out of our military, I'd support it 100%.
