Post Conduit 2
No this isn't a post about the game itself, rather just an annoying situation. So, most of the social workers that work for my company know that I'm a gamer......kind of hard not to. Anyway, one of the social workers has a nephew that is a developer or tester (not sure) on Conduit and now Conduit 2. When the first one was set to release, it was pretty hyped, but after it came out I think the reviews were pretty shitty. She now comes in today to tell me that her nephew came home to visit and was telling her all about how he is working on the 1st level of Condiut 2. Apparently he worked on level 6 of the first one.

So I just have to sit here and smile and act interested. I wish I could tell her that Conduit sucked and the second one will probably be worse.

Just thought I'd share.

yes, but you can't discount her pride for her grandson. aside from the game sucking, it sounds like he has a pretty good gig. and even though the first one sucked it had to have some level of success in order for them to make a sequal. who knows, if you engage her more in conversation and ask the right questions, it could provide you the opportunity to provide positive feedback to this guy during the development process, so maybe conduit 2 won't suck as bad as the first. (sometimes i look too hard for the positive side of things)

LOL, yeah, I'm sure she is proud of her nephew, and he does have a cool gig. But, the fact of the matter is, I could care less about her nephew or his career. But for some reason, she feels like I need to hear ALL about it just because I play video games.

I hadn't played the game yet but I heard good stuffs about it.

I like the fact that you could rebinds your keys with the remote and nun chuck to your play style tho.

My friend actually enjoyed the game. Said it was one of the better Wii games out there.

THE NINTENDO WII BLOWS ASS.

You know you only smile and nod at Nintendo when they pull this bullshit because of your childhood love affair with them. ♥

The multiplayer is pretty fun, I just hate the way nintendo uses Friend Codes. Takes away from the whole online experience. What's the point of playing online if you can't bitch at random people from across the world?
