If it's the same engine as Guild Wars then it's one of the worst games ever! That engine is horrible and I won't play any NCSoft games till they get rid of it.

In fact, back in wow, blizzard runned a poll about why the F*CK the alliance had more peeps than the horde, turned out to be that 12 year olds and little kids or teenagers where like "EW ORCS ARE UGLY AND THEYR DESIGN SUCKS ASS, PLUS THEY ARE EVIL I WANT TO BE GOOD LIKE... OH LETS SEE THE PALADIN, YEAH COOL WHEWT", thats why blizzard bringed the blood elf, to drag more kids to the horde side, so nt kitten.

Game looks great but iunno if my laptop could run that bitch, plus MMO´s are almost out for me, since i work shitloads and almost not have the time to PUG and shit. So good luck.

i promised my buddy i'd give it a try... so i did... and it's really not that bad. people are dissing on engines, etc... but no one has even played and most of the assumptions are coming from previous games, etc. if the engine is all i have to worry about, thats a good thing. a game can look ugly as F*CK and still be great... look at zelda.

it might be a waste of most people's money since the point is to play, not criticize the game in order to get others to not play it. when you guys buy the game, play it for a week, and say you don't like it.. that's different. i also understand losing interest because of its insanely close appearance to wow could happen, but ncsoft have done so many things differently than wow to make it much better than just a wow ripoff... and a wow ripoff it isn't. the graphics are better than wow as well. ginz, if your laptop is >2 years, you should be good.

that hole thing about 12 year olds playing the dark side is so false its not funny. When i played WoW alliance side (fairy tail side) was the side all the 12 year olds played on because it was "Magical" n stuff. No 12 year old played Horde, people that were like 18+ played horde and we looked bad ass lol.

Thats why Horde pwned in PVP and alliance failed hardcore

Horde only got good at PvP because there was 1 of us for every 20-30 of them.

DAOC is the only one who did PVP right and I can't believe I might load that shit back up and play it again with some friends just for the PVP.

BTW When I do get my account up and anyone wants to try DAOC out on the free trial, let me know I can powerlevel you guys pretty fast.

Evidently, any one you mention is going to suck, because this is, as far as i know, the best MMO engine I've seen yet. I've actually been playing the game for some time now. Opinions are great and all, but it can't hold weight if you're just saying shit to fit in. Kano, Peepers, Boner, and myself have been playing for a few days, and it's been absolutely fun so far.
