Ya taking a huge percentage of the cars that the middle/lower class can afford off the road is a great idea..

It is only a fail for you and what if someone still has those lower cars and can't get parts for it? lul suck for them

I'm going to be a multi-billionaire.

The premise for the idea doesn't have anything about taking cars off the road that people can afford, it's trading in cars that get poor gas mileage and trading them in for new cars that have a better mpg. You have to be in a financial situation that you can afford a new car and it gets rid of cars that are considered wasteful. There's probably a small percentage of those cars that are good running and reliable, so it's not really a loss to anyone to get rid of them. It helps people that we on the edge getting a new car and more than likely get a better trade in value because of the bonus.

Spyda but they take the engines and scrap everything so no parts like it are used again and in time people will have to get new cars cause they can't get parts for their cars

Realistically, those people would need to get newer cars regardless, but for the sake of the argument, those people can find new or used parts for those cars pretty easily. If you can't find what you need from Advance Auto/Auto Zone, eBay, or your local junk yard, then you really need a different car.

my brothers pickup went up in flames last year

he had 10 gallons of tractor oil a mower and 2 gallons of gas in the back

all he did was change the gas tank and the fuel filter and it works.

but now it over heated and it wont work... lucky for him he is taking half day of college at the votech for auto mechanics so

he can fix his pickup. lul for him

meh like 6 of the top ten "clunkers" traded in were ford explorers anyway.. so no real big loss.

That is a bunch of shit, you shouldnt have signed it. I work at Saturn and sell cars and you cant be held liable for the dealer not recieving the money. The dealer is held responsible, Shit Doan Dodge had to eat $45,000 because they started a week early and fuct up on 10 cars. But on the other hand i made alot of money due to this C.A.R.S. program. i sold like 18 just on Clunkers alone.

I'm waiting for cash for disc drives. Please turn in all of your HDD's and only buy Seagate. Help a dirtbag keep his job....
