I'm sure you have all noticed that I've been missing in action for many months now. Before I relocated to Ft Myers, Florida at the end of December, every PC capable of running CS in my house died, and I've been so busy since the move that I cannot find time to repair them and get back in the game.

I think it's awesome that n00bfest was built strong enough to survive with me being completely GONE for 6-8 months. That says a lot about the community and the fine individuals that make up this fucked-up tribe. But after this much time, n00bfest is starting to falter without any proper leadership. Someone has to step up and take the bull by the nose and lead it in the right direction.

Gman and I have been partners in this venture since before n00bfest was n00bfest. We've had fall outs, fall ins, re-vamps, and hell... the guy actually dated my daughter for a while! (crazy, I know)

All craziness and prior disagreements aside, Gman is the one person I can safely say TRULY understands this place and the direction I would like to see it move. We just discussed some extreme changes to the site (can you say "old days"?) the server (just some config changes on our new badass First Person Server box should be enough) and the overall leadership of the community. Gman and I spent some time this morning discussing what the place needs and the changes that need to take place. He's definitely the man for the job, and he knows what I would do if I had the time to do it.

I look forward to the day when I get a machine back up and running and I get to pwn some of your fucktards again, but even then, I would not have adequate time to manage this place and give you all the attention you deserve - not for the forseeable future.

These people helped make n00bfest what it is today; however, for the most part, they are busy with other things in life and don't have the proper amount of time to dedicate to leading n00bfest. These n00bfest Ancients will retain their admin rights in the Counter-Strike server indefintely, and may still have an active role in leadership if they so choose. They are not losing anything by their change in status -- it's really just an organizational change for the sake of sorting out the chain of command. Any roles, duties or responsibilities previously maintained will still be maintained (this means we love you, BulletCatcher).

Also effective immediately, the following admins have been promoted to Elder:

Rokatanski

Since aCId_rAIn and Coach held seats on the council, their council seats have been reassigned to the following members:

Goodkat
Luff Waffle

The following admin changes will be made shortly:

Smitty will be promoted to General
Spidey will be promoted to General
Ginzu will be promoted to Captain
Goodkat will be promoted to General
Luff Waffle will be given admin status at the rank of Captain
T-boner will be reinstated as an admin at the rank of Captain
qwned will be removed as an admin due to inactivity
