Yes! Gotta love that American greed!

This has absolutely nothing to do with worthless F*CK bags going in to hospitals and demanding healthcare for F*CKING free and the hospitals in turn having to raise prices for everyone else to cover the F*CKING operational cost!

This isn't about not having the money to still afford the coverage! This isn't about irresponsible adults ruining everything they touch with their laziness and entitlement syndrome!

NO! THIS IS SIMPLY PURE GREED BEING MOTIVATED BY MAKING MONEY WHICH IS TOTALLY NOT THE WHOLE POINT OF A CORPORATION.

Like it or not, insurance companies are "for profit" companies. If they don't make the cash, they lose shareholders. This makes perfect sense to me, but I'm looking at if from a business aspect, not as a consumer. I haven't had health coverage for myself or my family in 14 years, and that works out pretty well for us. I may get coverage when I hit 50+, but right now, I just can't justify paying $100.00+ per month for something I'm not going to use.

I'm sure my perception would change if I were in an accident or if I had a sudden heart attack or stroke, but I get checkups and so far, I'm good to go.

They did an audit a few months back here at work comparing the amount of insurance patients vs. uninsured vs. state aided. It was comical. Working at a hospital allows me to see what symptoms are being treated with taxpayers money. I love it when Tryone comes into the ER and is seen for a cough or a runny nose just to get a sick note for work.

any business is "for profit;" otherwise what is the point of owning a business, right? the problem is when you start screwing your customers.

it'd be like ordering and paying for food at a restaurant and then not being served the food you payed for, because the restaurant would rather just keep your money.

this goes back to responsibility and accountability, and no i'm not trying to sound like obama. if i tell you i'm going to sell you a good or service, and you pay me in advance for that good or service; i should be held accountable for the commitment i've made and the money i've received in return.

Hey I never said this was a black and white situation. There are people on all sides which are making this a very costly situation for consumers.

It doesn't take much fore-thought to understand that making a corporation which decides whether to make a profit or save a person's life isn't a very good idea if the society regards human life as important as American society says it does.

Not everything has to be a business, that's something that society may learn in the future.

I'm just glad I don't have to rely on this system as much as other people do because I'd be pretty pissed at the options out there right now.

I'll probably work for an insurance company for at least part of my career but I don't think I'll stay in it long enough to lose my soul.
