Here's the problem: "Casey" decided that his "girlfriend" was a bitch and he decided that he no longer wanted to move in with her. "Casey" believes the bet is forefited on both sides because "the conditions changed." "Adam" believes that there were no conditions in the bet about the "girlfriend" and "Casey" is thereby obligated to pay "Adam" the amount of the bet in full. I'm assuming Casey was in the state on the date set by the bet. So since there was no natural disaster or extraordinary conditions preventing him from either being in or out of the state, the bet is still valid. So, from what i'm reading and infering, Casey is in the state at the time of said date. Therefore Casey owes Adam $20. Or they oculd both quit being dutchbags and forget the bet.
