 So, is this a virus or something? I was on MSN Messenger, and TWICE two friends appeared to log on, send me a link to this site, and log off within 3 seconds. They're not complete assholes so they wouldn't be sending me random shit like this without telling me what it was...besides, one is at work. I'm just wondering if anyone has heard or seen anything about it.

Had this happen a few years back and yes, it's a virus.
If you talk to those freinds they will tell you that they have no idea wtf you are talking about.

Most case scenario when they message you shit like that they're the one with the infection it causes a script to be activated and spread shit, I think it is a Trojan type. Just discard the message and alert the friend to scan their shit, most of those can be cleaned by residential scanner methods, but I have paranoia and my sister got one of those on our shit so I just redid my shit.

If you were dumb enough to click the link, you'll need to scan you computer. I don't think there are any viruses that can spread only via IM protocols.
