HOLY F*CK THIS CARD OWNS!!!

It has pretty much tilted its pimp hat, and bitch slapped every game I throw at it from COD4, Crysis, WOW:LK, and so on and so on. You name it, it kills it with max settings and 4x AA on at all times. It was my upgrade from a PNY 8800gt 512. Btw, I know Tazzler isnt too far from me, so if you see a large negro walking up on you with a 8800gt, dont panic. Want to buy my old card?

My setup will be two 3850 crossfire'd in a laptop.

You'll probably have to do that, cause with our overseas lag an extra burden in our traffic makes everything slower, I know I can't play successfully unless both my mother and sister have laptops ether idle, off, or on something non internet related. Hence why I have to play ether in an empty house after school or at night.

Aye, or you could get something that is like what we have here, KabelBW (Cable Baden Wuertenburg) which is cable internet. That kinds sucks for you military guys that for the most part you have to live in base, I'm civilian so I have no choice in the matter, I have to live off base, and also come second in line for health care at the hospitals, we usually get referred to a German place which for the most part isn't too bad from what my mom recalls (I don't get sick its my sister and her knee problems that make most of the doctor appointments in the family).

yea I will look into it, but the rest of the n00bfest community definitely needs to take a look at this card if you are looking for a new card for your system.

It's a bad card for SOURCE... and only 4xAA, you would expect a little more from that card.

EDIT: unless that is only on crysis, then I take it back

Im not having any issues with it on source at all. Seems to run just fine for me

I'm just guessing but I think State was looking for more of a read out on what specs you're running source at.

Everything is maxed out on Source with it set at 16:10 widescreen and 1680 x 1050. And it was 239 euros or $270-$280 in us money


Also, I just had to make a edit. Its running at 4xMSAA. It can go up to 8xMSAA, but its not needed for me. Looks great when I have dynamic contrast settings on my monitor enabled. And it still had over 280fps in stress test WITHOUT developer 1 and fps_max being enabled.

That specific card makes the haze on dust 2 and nuke unbearable.

i will try and avoid ati for the rest of my life after the ati not supporting ati card drivers with vista piss me off i know its not all the cards but still Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_21

Well, I stand corrected, after adding another drive and going raid and reinstalling vista 64 im not having any issues at all
