My computer is recently transferring speaker output to my microphone. I know a few people have had this problem in the past but I couldn't find any thread about it.

So now in vent, everything I hear, if I'm talking, other people hear as well.

It also seems to be looping now, so if I say something, it repeats itself, louder every 2 seconds until a vortex of intelligible doom reigns upon me.

I'll look up the actual model but it's a lightweight logitech headset.

LOL i had those at one point. junk!!!! the mute button wouldnt go off so i couldnt talk at all. Get a new headset.

The problem might be with your sound settings. Go into the "master volume" control, and goto your input device, see if something is muted/unmuted that shouldn't be, that's what fixed it when I had that problem.

No I've checked all the sound settings and I think it may actually just be physical damage to the headphones/microphone. I just didn't think that it were possible for physical change to have this kind of internal effect on it.
