Short answer, no it won't work.
If you are dedicated, and have a Linux install that supports accelerated graphics (basically, if you have an Nvidia graphics card) you can try the guides here http://www.linux-gamers.net/modules/wiw ... OWTO+Steam and here http://appdb.winehq.org/appview.php?iVersionId=3731 CSS should run, but it'll be laggy and buggy. Steam friends has also been known to crash the game. There is also a chance you can trigger a VAC ban from running CSS in linux because of all the differences between Linux and windows. |
