I saw the commercial a while back and it certainly caught my eye but I'm not getting my hopes up till I play it. Looks like a mix of Doom/Event Horizon/The Thing.

It's a pretty good game. I recommend this game to lovers of survival horror. :D

Looks OK, I thought I saw some 3rd person in the "gameplay" footage. I'm not too partial to shooters that are in 3rd person. (Sorry Gears fans)

Yes, because gears is the first and only game to use 3rd person.

Not exactly what I meant, just that Gears is a VERY popular 3rd person shooter. Off of the top of my head I can't think of another one that had/has as much of an online following as Gears does now.

Not true at all...you've missed a few years. Try Army of Two or Syphon Filter.
