Dunno why I'm posting this, but I'm bored. Not sure how unique this is, either. Intended to be a hybrid of Vista and Mac (Mac icon bar, Vista design.) I have XP, BTW.

Then again, I got extremely bored.

My wife has Vista on her laptop and I thought it was teh sux at first. Now I've gotten a little addicted to having the weather, calendar, news and TV listings available constantly. It's handy as shit once you get used to it.

Yeah, I just got my laptop in yesterday and the wallpaper is exactly like yours. Gadgets on the right are fully customizable so you can change the alignment or download some other cool ones. Top bar basically eliminates the need for icons so you can categorize shortcuts since each Icon is a dropdown list of shortcuts. Vista is pretty F*CKING awesome from what I've seen. I just use it for school so the problems I encounter with it will probably be minimal.

Edit: But ya, what's the point if you don't get the full Vista experience that includes compatibility issues?

i actually think it looks pretty cool. i didn't use to like having things on the side of my desktop until i got my 24" widescreen monitor. now there's no point in most programs maximized (especially web browsers) because there is too much white space and it blinds the F*CK out of me. so having extra gadgets on the side is cool now. that's where i keep my steam friends list and other thangs i use :)

Yeah, my monitor is 24" too, except I use the sidebar for sports scores and such.
