Been playing the demo on my PS3.
Lots of vehicles. Humvees, light tanks, dune buggies, trucks, helicopters, boats, etc. All of them can carry multiple troops and all passenger positions have fixed guns/murder holes for carried troops to shoot from. Defensive gun placements and artillery cannons, too.
Typical setup with class-set weapons. Assault, Recon, Support, Specialist, and Demolition. Assault gets assault rifles with attached nade launchers and hand grenades. Recon has sniper rifles (seem to be inaccurate as F*CK so far) and a pistol, etc. There's a ranking system that unlocks more gadgets and weapons as you get better and play more. Ex: Assault unlocks an adrenaline shot to heal yourself, Recon unlocks binoculars to paint an area for airstrike, etc. As you take damage, you're not able to see or move as well or fast.
So yeah, your basic multiplayer shooter stuff. The destructibility is a major awesome factor from what I've seen from playing the online demo. The only mode active right now is Gold Rush. Offensive team has to push up on Defensive team that is bunked up in a small village and destroy their caches of gold by either shooting it enough or planting a bomb, which can be defused by Defensive team. I've seen a line of tanks just siege the shit out of encampments and left the whole area flat while snipers picked off the surviving Defensive. I've also seen Defensive team sneak along trenches and under bridges with drills and take out whole convoys. It's pretty well balanced and no one can really camp for long, not even snipers. And when you knife some sucker, you collect his dog tag. I don't know what it does yet, but I've got like 20 already.
Anyone else interested?
