McDonalds. You'll hate working there, but being able to put that you've gone through the McDonalds training regimen on a resume will make you look good.

Like oreX said, the job will SUCK. But the experience will help you in the long run.

yeah right, like any sane person looking for a real job would put mcd's on a resume...if thats all the work experience uve got..dont even bother with it...better to let a real employer think that youve never had a job before than to tell them uve been corrupted by a gay fast food restaurant...

Your best bet is to go with a job that SEEMS like hardwork, dishwashing, clearing tables, pushing carts, all that shits cake and it looks like hard work on a resume...

Take a business class in HS there cake and teach u alot of great techniques on how to find and keep jobs...

Do what I do. Work at a golf course. You have a rush at 7-8 when the members go out, then a small rush at 2 when they go in. But in between there you're not doing shit unless you're getting up to get lunch or eating.

My first job was a Package Loader in UPS. Hey 9$/hour isn't bad for a first job. Great benefits, but they are really going to have you "WORKING".

I'm working my first job right now. Bussing/dishwashing tables is pretty good. If you bus, you get tips. But if you DO bus, and you DO get tips, make sure you ask if your tips are recorded in some way with the IRS. 'Cause you're only allowed to make a certain amount of money per year. Dishing isn't so bad. It's easy, but near the end of the night when your cook gives you all of his/her dishes, it can get a li'l overwhelming. But you know you're not leaving until you're done anyway. Usually a restaurant will start you on dish no matter what. I started on dish, and got moved up to bus because I busted my F*CKING ass at doing dishes. So whatever you do, bust your ass doing it.

It's not your choice. Your boss chooses. Or at least mine does.

MY first job was as a parking trafficer for my University's lots for games. It sucks, but I learned the campus fast and learned how to deal with the whole customer support thing. Now I work as a clerk at a gas station, people like hiring you if they know you have handled money before. You will seem more trustworthy that way.
