 Musicians
Who in n00bfest has some musical talent?
Also, do any of you have Guitar Pro 5?
Please, post here and share your talents and favourite genre/style.
For example.
I play drums, have been for about 4 years now.
I play guitar, on and off for about 3 years.
I play bass (who can't)
I do some vocal work.
Keyboard/Piano.
Clarinet!
I'll listen to any style, even a couple country songs (a few.) Preferred style is Metal/Rock

I'm a percussionist all the way. I tried to pick up a guitar, but I just can't do anything with it.

I can play a Brown Note on a child's recorder.
I need a pair of Earmuffs.
EDIT - more seriously, I used to drum but I sucked it up hardcore and gave that up right quick.

Guitar, off and on for 5 years.
I'm a vocalist; really good singing voice is what I'm told by alot of people. I have a good octave reach.
I prefer to play some rock/metal stuff on the guitar, and I can sing a wide variety of things. I can especially pull off a Coheed & Cambria song with ease, especially their newer 6-7 minute long songs. Currently, I'm trying to train my voice to professionally do death metal vocals (the demonic screaming stuff). I can do it, but only for like ten seconds without coughing, so I'm training to do it alot better.

Just so you know Murder, that song you sent me a while back is trippy and sounds like you were drunk/high when you played it.
I love it.

I sing. That's about it. I've tried to learn to play guitar and bass so many times, but I've never gotten anyway because I never feel like practicing enough to get good.

I was probably high. I don't remember what I sent you though so it's hard telling, haha.

I've been playing guitar for 14 years I also teach I've been giving guitar lessons for about 3 yrs. My influences include George Lynch, Randy Roads, Yngwie J. Malmsteen, Tony Macalpine, Steve Vai, Vitto Bratta, Nuno Bettencourt, Reb Beach, Paul Gilbert, Chris Impelliteri, Ritchie Blackmore, Tony Iommi, Joe Satriani, Zakk Wylde, Eddie Van Halen. I play for the enjoyment and i'm still learning new techniques. My favorite genres of music are 80's metal/hairbands, neo-classical metal, instrumental metal, classical music, classic rock, hard rock, thrash/speed metal, power metal, progressive metal, some metalcore (shadows fall, trivium, all the remains, etc).
