Anyone here that used to play when it came out? I just started playing in January - it's gotta be the best non-directly competitive game I've played ever played.

Sorry if the sound is off - the only person I know who would test it can't play mp4s. Demo time is actually: 0:22.83305
I'd say this is the best demo I've done since I've started playing. It's the second fastest non-using-the-barrel-boost (on that map) and I just got it a few hours ago. e1m1 is arguably the most run map, so it feels pretty good to be second to someone whose been playing since '00..

If any of you are interested in trying it out, Quake released a shareware version where you can play through the first episode. The game/story itself isn't very fun.. but when you add in bunny hopping.. it's frickin sweet.
