hope this explains it
RIAA sued and lost. "User" sued for lawyers' fees. RIAA balked at amount sued for, said there was no way they'd pay it. Judge orders to see the fees paid by the RIAA to their lawyers. Assuming I'm suing the RIAA for $50,000 in laywers' fees, they can't tell me that it's unreasonable if they've paid theirs $300,000 over the same case. |
