 ERROR VERIFYING STEAM USER ID!!!can somebody help me with this... ive already fix it then suddenly it returns to the same error... plsss need help

it happens to me every now and then, usually i just restart steam and its fixed

uninstall........lol j/k if that don't work just reinstall it that should take care of the problem

Okay since a bunch of people are having this problem...
EXIT STEAM. Go to your steam directory, default: C:/program files/valve/steam. Find the icon entitled ClientRegistry.blob. CUT AND PASTE this icon onto your desk top [to back it up]. Close the window. Double click Steam. Viola fixed. |

This happened to me all last night.
Try logging out and back in (this is not the same as restarting STEAM) To do this: 1. Make sure you remember you're password. Username was saved for me. 2. Open STEAM 3. Select File 4. Select change user 5. A message will come up saying this will log you out of STEAM. 6. Click OK 7. Enter correct details 8. Log in. Now after this is complate try getting into a server. This worked for me :) |
