 !!RECENT NEW SERVERS!!
OK,... so BF2 is gonna take a little while to fill-up properly. The server IPs for all major n00bfest servers are listed in my signature.
One thing you folks have GOT to check out is F.E.A.R.. The F.E.A.R. multiplayer game is FREEEEEE so you can download and install it for NOTHING. The gameplay is awesome and it's got several modes (deathmatch, capture the flag, etc). Very kick ass FREE game.
The bad news - it's a 1.8 GIG download. Yes, big pain in the ass, but very worth it.
To make things a bit easier on the n00b community, I've downloaded the file to the dedicated server that runs BF2 and 2142, and I'll provide a hotlink to it for the next few days. Get it now, before I pull the plug on it. Bandwidth should be decent if it's 1 at a time., but you might notice it being slow if you're trying at the same time as others. If it's slow, cancel and wait a few hours.
Click this, and choose "save as"-
ftp://n00bfest:1337sauce@72.232.26.13:1 ... en_107.exe

FEAR!?!?!?!?!?!?
F*CK yeah, I'm down.
I don't hardly ever play CZ anymore, and I've already played out BF2 and BF2142.

Looks like a great late night play!
How much space would it save if you compressed it?

it's already compressed into a self extracting exe, so I would be worried that further compression might corrupt the file.

Yes but just think... it's a FREE game! If it was a small game it wouldn't be worth downloading.
At 1.8 Gigs, it packs a nice bit of horsepower when you install it. Excellent graphics and effects.
Tonight.... we play FEAR!

I'm wondering if my computer could even run that shit.
