Have u tested your internet connection on your 360?? Its under Network Settings in the System tab, it should tell you whether or not its finding a connection.

Also when u sign up for Live Gold, it should be free for 1 month Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_02 Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_02 Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_02

If you connect the ethernet cable directly into your computer it should be able to pick up the internet connection automatically through your computer.

Im not sure then, when i hooked mine up it found the internet no probs. In the system tab on ur xbox there is shit to test the connection for xbox live and connection to a computer, maby that will help you. Also I think there may be something in there as well that u have to select like "connect to a pc" incase it doesnt do it automatically, which is also in the system tab on ur xbox.

Hope that helps Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_14

Gotta be honest mate I havnt got a clue wot any of that crap means. According to that though u dont need one if ur using an ethernet cable. You could try following the instructions that it gives u a link to for your operating system and see wot that does, other than that im outta ideas.
