I like the debating.

It kindof makes these forums useful: weeds out dumbasses who don't know anything about anything, and brings out the mature members to talk about real events. Thank god n00bt00b was created, because I didn't even read general discussion anymore.

It's called General DISCUSSION for a reason. We used to frown on single word posts, but the average post today probably has about 2 words and a smiley face. Thanks to these political debate posts, we might have brought that up to 2.1 :?

Please keep 'em coming, it makes reading the forums interesting and gives a lot more of a community atmosphere than posting things that anyone can find on the interwebs. Hell, we've already lost a lot of our more senior players (mainly because of WoW/life), but they don't want all these immature kids spamming them.

Also, please never make another forum for news/politics/science discussion. Hopefully we can help out the maturity of these forums through these posts.

Not gonna lie, I'd actually cut down a lot and haven't made my own threads in a long time. I fully agree. I love it when there's sensible discussion to be had instead of: "LOL LOOK@MYvideoIT'StheGREATESTaMANfallsDOWNandINTOpoopie"


I read the n00b t00b stuff, rarely watch the videos, but some are great.

Certain videos (Like the one LV submitted about the Kiwi!) definately don't deserve to be put in n00b t00b.

Keep up the debates, I like seeing who's on what side of things, who knows something about the subject and knowing that a majority of the smart people in this place are actually making a conscious effort to use their intellect.
