Are you going to add more RAM? We tried it with 1 gb and it was sooooooooo slow. 2 gb's ftw.

Yup. I have the PC Helpdesk peeps keeping an eye out for me for when good stuff comes off lease. I kiss their ass, and they hook me up.

Well you have to work at a company that leases their computer equipment. Alot of places offer to their employees the option to buyout the lease when the lease is up. That's how I do it. The big catch is that in most cases the extended warranty is up, or very little time is left on the warranty. Since I'm a tech I have my sources for acquiring spares. Just note the buyout price is dependent on what is in the unit. The firm I am on-site at is an engineering firm so a good amount of their PC's are high-end workstations, some of those going back are over $1000 to buyout the lease. Laptops are even more, especially if it has BT and WiFi.
