 Family vacation in December Okay, ppl. Let's try to use this as a usefull tool for a change: I am looking for a good and old-fashioned family vacation place to stay, between Christmas and (inclusive) New Year's day.
My options, in order of preference:
Gatlinburg, Tennessee, TN (Smoky Mountains)
some mountain park in NC
some mountain park in SC
I will probably drive to there. If you know a good chalet renter, places to go, links, etc. pls post it here or pm me. I know, I know, I can google it, I am doing that. I want someone who's been/lived around and has a good advice to give.
