Friday night, me and pink3y decided that we wanted to go out and drink a bit....so we go over to our friend Jack's bar.....we drink a bit and have a good time and jack invites us to go to P-House with him(a local club)....So we say yeah sure thats a good idea....we stop by his place beforehad so jack could change clothes and what do I see?....Kingdom Hearts 2....brand spanking new just sitting on the coffee table.....so we go out and drink some more and dance to some pretty good music and about 2:30 we decided we were bored and it was time to go.....we get back to Jack's place and I asked if it was cool if I played a little KH....Jack says sure good idea......he also started some of his kickass coffee.... (pink3y's edit..Jack's coffee is special coffee that has higher caffeine, made in an espresso maker. Greeny's "cup" was really one of those giant thermos coffee mugs)
SATURDAY
3am: saturday morning the journey began (pink3y's edit...little did we know what that meant...)

6am: we all kind of look up and realize that I've been sitting there playing for 3 hours and none of us has even taken a smoke break

noon: were all like OMFG....we've been playing for umpteen hours straight

7pm: it somehow came to be that we were going to beat this in one sitting (pink3y's edit...no F*CKING way were we not going to see the end at this point!)

9pm: Pink3y made a bet with me that My hands and arms were going to be sore the next day (pink3y's edit..he said no way were his hands and arms going to be sore, that he was fine, etc...haha)

SUNDAY
Midnight: we all started to get our second winds and really got going
3am: I'd been playing for 24 hours straight and the fatigue was starting to set in (pink3y's edit..but it was more like we were all slap-happy at this point and laughing at the dumbest things, disbelief that we were all still sittling there)

5am: pink3y won the bet
6am: get to the tron stage and our eyes are tweaking out....started 'seeing' things out of the corners of my eyes (pink3y's edit..couldn't focus on anything anymore OTHER than the TV!)

9am: could have beat it then but decided to hold off and collect more things and gain a few more levels
11am: shadow hallucinations begin

1pm: I'm at the point where I can no longer feel my hands but the motor controls are still working (pink3y's edit..intense discussion of strategies to defeat Sephiroth...two hours)

6pm: I enter the final stage and continue to a save point

8pm: the final credits begin to roll.....we finally noticed that there were credits that were rolling and that we had finished it... about 10 minutes later.
And so with the controller glued to my hand......a look of pure apathy and lethargy on my face....and shadow people moving at the very edges of my vsion pink3y takes a few pictures:
So we then creakily unbent ourselves from the cramped positions on the couch and made our way home...literally fell into bed and slept straight thru until 2 pm today....still pretty wiped out but actually feeling better than we thought we would. And the sad thing is that we still want to play the game!
(pink3y's edit...The game really put us through it, but holy crap it was fun! Hardcore, oh yes! WE OWN!)
Now we are planning for the next level........hehehe
