Later this month I will be buy a 2007 Honda fit with a 1.5L VTECH engine.. so whats so great about a VTECH engine.. I have no idea this is my first honda..

Nothing really great about it. Basically all it is, is the engine computer can adujust the duration of the valve train timing for better performance depending on the engine of course. If the engine is a SOHC with VTEC it is an econo motor(better gas mileage), if it's a DOHC with VTEC then it is a performance motor. The FIT has a SOHC motor 109hp/105ft-lbs, with a weight of 2551lbs. For about the same price you can get a Dodge Caliber with a 1.8L motor w148hp/125ft-lbs. Thats if you're into performance.

Yup. The Caliber is only 300lbs heavier(and larger) than the Fit. The Fit is going to probably handle like every stock Honda, lots of body roll. Are you intending to do anything with the car, or leave it unmodded?If you are just using the car to get to work, and be a grocery-getter then it is probably the right car for you, if performance is your thing you will be disappointed. Then again it also depends on how much you can afford.

nah iam not goin to trick it out to much.. just intake, ground wires and i dont think much exhaust.. some cool rims and good sound

also this Fit got the second fastest lane change time from car and driver EVER. The olny car that was faster was the Z06 Corvette

they are just fast and like racing engine can do more or handle more where and tear on it and wont do as much
