So were playing in office. A BIG CAMP map... I would say the one of the two biggest and the other being assault. There are some maps that are more straight up and fast kill paced maps (iceworld, dust, dust_2 etc) well im in the sniper spot on ct side and aceing bitches left and right. Someone says sometin like complete your objective, not even two seconds after my final teamate gets killed. After that i ace 3 t's and end the round.

Why should people have to hear BS about camping on a map when camping made this game? If it wasnt for camping this game would be unreal tournament with arabs!!! So after responding to the claim that i was a "pu$$y camper". I was kicked... then i came back onto the server.

Someone said "You gonna keep talking shit?!"

to which i responded "You wanna go straight up, go to funmaps and i'll take you there, you wanna play strategy and mind games, I'll take you here. DONT TELL ME HOW TO PLAY!"

After that Zeus said "see ya" and i got banned... lame right?

So who's wrong? am i wrong because i play how i want to play, fair, strategic, and different on different maps. Or should i just bow down bc someone paid 20 bucks for admin and they like online gaming power, or better yet, they didnt pay for admin and their admin anyway? whats the deal guys? Anyone willing to stick up for ol' dreamR?

Dude, we would like you to play here but please take time to be quite and see how the admins run the servers, I am sure it's bussiness as usual. We usually don't camp much if you have an objective to complete weather you have ten team members alive or not. It keeps things pretty fast moving and fun for everyone. The other posts you made about not wanting to join the n00b army isn't gonna get you alot of brownie points either, so sit back don't talk too much BS and have fun and get to know some of us. Just my humble opinion.

I think thats one of the best posts i read here, youre honest and true. I agree that stating my views on not joining nOOb were somewhat unnecessary (becuase who cares if i join or dont join). I also think that camping is lame in some situations (1v1, smallmaps, and if you need to complete an objective)

In this situation i had 3 T's vs Me (CT). I figured i would eliminate a few t's from my spot until i had enough confidence to raid the office by my lonesome. Its a common strat really. But after hearing someone complain about my camping i jumped right out and won the round. Camping hasnt been an issue for me before, i dont see why 1 round is such a big deal.

the main server is not for strats and mind games it's a place to play for fun. the rule in here is to play and complete objectives. if you wanna play strats and all get into a clan and play on OGL or somethin like that. you don't wanna follow th rules and talk BS to admins you get what you deserve.

I agree, but if you read the title of my topic is says banned in ELITE... if im not mistaken theres a strong difference btwn ELITE strats, and Main pub strats.

I follow all of the rules... DAILY. I didnt talk shit to any admins. After kicking someone out of a pub and them returning, saying "you gonna keep talkin shit" would clasify as talking shit. The only "BS" i spoke to admins was in my defense and was in no way personally disrespectful to them.

I'm not going to get too involved other than saying "complete your objective or get slayed" is one of my favorite sayings.

Well, here's my humble opinion. I agree with weedman on the fact that you should not have been banned. I think this whole "camping" definition has bothered me for some time when it comes to OFFICE! I can't begin to count how many time's T's will rush from the back garage doorway, and POW! Some of them rushing faggots get blasted in the face - and accuse the shooter of "camping" I mean come on, what are CT's supposed to do? Just let the rush happen every time? I mean, if you want to be technical about it, T's should stay up inside with the hosties, right? And for "camping" in the sniper room on CT side, In my opinion, if you're not crouched down behind a box, you're not "camping". I agree with the fact that some people get impatient, when their lack of skill get's them killed right off the bat, and they have to watch a whole match from spectator. But, if the guy isn't sitting down behind a box CAMPING, and there is still time on the clock, then don't worry about it. Some of us as admins need to lighten the hell up. If you feel that someone is doing something wrong, kick. If it's someone in the community, [n00b] - [rct] - or just some guy who think's he's too good for [n00b] - kick then POST. Don't ban just becuase you don't have to type as many letters as KICK. Straighten the hell up, or give up your admin and go back to playing SiMs - and pretend you HAVE A LIFE!
