Either way this is a clear violation of the Constitution. Furthermore now Doctors are going to start a union. Guess what the union goes on strike, Who the F*CK is gona aid sick and injured??? Soon you will see doctors turning down patients becuase they smoked for 20 yrs or they worked in a factory with certain chemicals or they.... it's happening in other countries that have this type of health care system in place. Also i own a small business this is gona F*CK me. And to businesses that take great care of their employess will now have to cut those great insurance plans and benifits due to the new policy! this is a bad deal and this is the government getting more control of the people, this country was designed to do the opposite!

Ok, i didnt read through everyone's comments just because im lazy and didnt want too. but badguy is mostly right, if you DONT purchase health insurance, then the penalty is a taxation type fine for 1% of your annual income, with $95 being the base minimum you pay (i guess if your unemployed). and Acid, im with you man. I have full benefits through the VA, so im really hoping thats considered health care :\

Yes i meant federal government when i said fed.And no Gman i haven't heard Neil bourts in like 7-8 years, cant get him around here.I do listen to Rush and some local talk shows,i cant stomach Hannity and Beck is funny but acts like a queer. And no i don't think im being an alarmist,i purchase just about every type of insurance you can get.Lets run the list,Health, dental vision, life, auto, home owners, cancer and aflac.I don't even know what all that costs,my wife handles the bills. But we would love to take that money and invest it,or do something fun instead but were old school and take responsibility for ourselves. I'm not a lazy person whining that shit cost too much hoping the government will make things easier for me.A goddamn coke costs way to much these days but i don't need the government taking over the soft drink companies to make things cheaper, even though im sure they could make em cost less and taste like shit.I want the government to take the tax money i give them and guard our borders, maintain a strong military and build highways and leave everything else to the private sector that can do it better. But they even suck at that.Federal government has its place but it should not be in my health care choices. But hey Government run health care will be awesome.....until you get sick.

LIBERAL AGENDA.

F*CK this shit. I have a good job with good insurance but goddamnit I'm a F*CKING white man in america. If I don't want health insurance why am I being taxed for not wanting a F*CKING luxury?

While I understand the importance of having insurance, I can't quite agree with this 'reform.'

all you supporters of this law just dont get it the most importiant issue here in the individual mandate (You CANNOT replace freedom of choice with equality. That's called communism.acidrain).(Government sucks at running shit so they should just probably stop. Down with big government, up with Liberty.gman)this is the problem everytime we let them take a little freedom at a time (for our security and well being)we get alittle closer to where there will be no fixing what has been done short of massive blood shed(a revolution)

I think the "health care for everyone" concept of this bill is a good thing. But the execution of it is stupid. I dont see how they can justify charging a "penalty" tax if you choose not to buy it yourself. Thats the part that gets under my skin.

Alas, I think this issue just lost Obama the election. I can honestly say I liked the guy(more than Romney), but I now think that because the Affordable Care act passed and ALL people, myself included, are finally coming to realize what it will do, I think it will be a major deciding factor in the election.

The funniest part about this is, all the liberals are jumping up and down saying "take that you right-wingers", as if they are somehow immune to being forced to buy health insurance. They actually thought the government was going to give the public a free healthcare system like the VA or somthing.....what a joke, there's no profit in giving out free healthcare.

You liberals wanted more government, you got it. Now you got another bill to tack on, and the bill doesn't care if you are with the left or right.

Anyone who thinks Romney will even have the power to repeal this bill, you better wake up now, cuz he won't be able to do shit about this.

This article uses figures that make the program sound like one big giant debt-hole.
