They don't "grow" a beard. When they get angry or scared their beard puffs out and turns pitch black. Like so:

I remember mine doing that first time I brought him outside. He was in a small tupperware and every time I even put my hand near the rim he jumped out at me with his beard in full form

I'm lucky enough to have only seen my 3 year old girl do it once, and that was because the cat was chasing her. Our cats are actually scared of her now, it's awesome. :D

There is a stick in his cage that blocks his view of me from his basking spot if I'm at my computer. And he will try to prop himself all the way on his toes to see me. So I'll move my head down and he'll try to crouch down to see me from underneath of it. It's so adorable.

bearded dragons smell bad.

my last roomate, that I wasn't having sex with, was a certified animal rescue guy. F*CKING usda came and inspected the house once a year, I hated that shit. Mostly because I was growing pot, but also because privacy, duh.

Anyways, we had a 100 gallon herp tank in my F*CKING living room, every time those F*CKERS dropped a deuce I could instantly tell, and within 30 seconds I was dry heaving.

So stinky. They are worse than cat shit, and cats have poop that the devil couldn't.

She's got two of them.

They don't smell that bad. Hell, they're RIGHT behind me. If you put your dome in the cage, yes, it'll smell horrible, but whatever.

we had 6 of those F*CKERS. ate frozen veg, and crickets.

They were super awesome and I loved petting them, and especially when they were molting.
