i dont like religion, there is no proof of what happened. thats why it was evolution. and everyhting was eevolved from something else and when there was the first thing, it eveoled from some protiens and amino acids brought to life from vents deep within the earth. an with the big bang, it all started with extremely dense material less then a millimeter big, and within a milli-second the universe expanded to millions of square miles, just like that. and then the particles, now they have more space, so they crash into each other and create bigger things, that arnt as dense as the origional thing, and etc, etc stuf happens and here we are =D

"Religion convinced the world that there's an invisible man in the sky who watches everything you do. BTW, if you are going to fail to contribute to the topic at hand, why post?

im probably the only religious person here. I am Christian. There are 3 type of christians from my perspective:
1. extremist assholes (yes i went there)
2. average joe
3. christians who are embarrased by extremist assholes.

im number 3. i go to church every sunday, i believe everything about christianity, i believe in evangelism, not shoving the bible in peoples faces, i do also believe that religion should not be a business.

also, i do swear a little (Maybe im a little too loose)

im not judgen u guys, love u all, just puttin in my 2 cents worth.Happy Easter

Both creation and evolution are correct.

God created the caveman. You think he created a perfect, hairless, blonde-haired arian man to live in the wild without clothes? I don't think so. The first humans would have to be built for outdoor living.

Adam and Eve had to be neanderthals or something similar.

Why can't they both be right?

i kinda agree, another thing. just because christians do believe in God, doesnt mean they dont rule out this theory of creationism/evolution

as in, at what point do you think civilization actually started? it's been proven (or rather, shown, believe it if you like) that civilization that life on earth has been reformed and rebuilt multiple times, including about 10,000 years ago when the first ice age occured, in which it could have taken out all existing people/things at the time. so how do we know what really existed before then? what was there before the first ice age hit, and how civilized was the earth as a whole?

the whole concept of the "creation" of the actual physical universe is pretty mind blowing when you really think about it.

you know, what proof is there that there is a "god"? science prevails all. where would this "god" be? i think the people who got the closest possibillity to a god was futurama, the epsope where bender was shot out of the torpedo bay at top speed and gets a colony on his ass, with the god-like thing/nebula that talks weird =D

You compared this subject to a cartoon. You totally just destroyed what little credibility this post had.

Either way, 'E' for effort.

I like Futurama, but I don't see how it can remotely compare to the subject of creation/evolution. :)

I like Futurama, but it lacks credibility when you are talking about science prevailing all.
