This shit rocked me to my core, father of 2, little ones 8 and 7, I don't need to worry about this kind of shit with my kids.

I know what you mean. I live next to Clackamas Town Center(not nearly as bad of an event) maybe 6 miles away. But it really rocks the community. Both of these shootings make me feel so sorry for anyone who has been affected by it. Especially the parents and the families of the victims and the shooters.

This is a tragedy. I can't even begin to imagine what those parents are going through right now. My heart is filled with sadness for them. I have a child of my own. He is 21 months old. He is the light of my life. Words do not exist that would even come close to describing what i would feel if I lost him, especially in a manner like this. I am really and truly saddened by this event and am at a loss right now.

The more the media blows these things up the more common it becomes. These freaks are nothing more than A bunch of pussies that do this because it leaves there name in history as "the man with the highest KDR" We need to stop focusing on the number of people killed so much and focus more on healing and helping this community that's in dire need of Love and compassion. There is very little we could have done to prevent this. Gun control only Makes things worse because not every Gun owner is a psychopathic lunatic, and most of these crimes are usually committed with Guns either stolen or purchased off the streets. You cannot blame Tv or video games. We have very little people to blame but this 1 individual. Also Back in the 1980's i believe, that many of the government funded long term psychiatric facilities have been closed or shut down due to budget cuts, And they got a bad reputation for abuses in these places, However maybe we should be reopening them, Yes they cost taxpayer dollars but It could possibly keep these people off the streets and in a safe facility were they have personnel that can deal with these individuals swiftly and regularly. The psychotropic drugging of the entire nation is unnecessary, You can have 1000 People that are Mentally Ill and only about 10 of them will go on to commit violent crimes. It all basically boils down to "Wrong place wrong time" you can be anywhere and Lunatics can show up, you wont know before its too late. Its just a horribly sad, cruel and horrendous situation and i pray for the community and all the families affected. Also they should never release the names of the killer publicly on the news, It only hurts the family members of that individual that Have nothing to do with this crime. Now this mans brother who was at work Living a normal stable life will be dealing with death threats, and possibly need Government protection from the public. Also keeping the names out of history will influence a cultural change. Let us forget this man and who he was. In my opinion hes just another run of the mill nut job.

Another thing that's being brought up is the whole "taking God out of schools" issue. People really need to shut the F*CK up about it because what's going to happen is some F*CKING insane piece of shit is going to prove those people wrong in a really bad way.

As I write this as well 2 Chinooks, 3 blackhawks and I THINK Marine 1 (obama) just flew over my condo. On the way to bradley airport in hartford to either drop off or pick up Obama.

What I'm talking about is a lot of things are being put on the table now because of this tragedy, including gun laws, video games and separation of church in schools. It's ridiculous that any of those things are even being said because People Kill People, not guns, video games or the lack of religion in schools.

This! I'm tired of hearing about that piece of shit. He's not worth the media attention. Cover the victims and the hero's. Victoria Soto needs more attention. Giving up her own life by choice to save as many students as she could. She's a hero that deserves credit, among others.
