hurts on the top side of the elbow whatever you call that, just b4 the bicep. A warm shower made it feel better for a little bit but now its back to its normal pain. Id give it a 5 or 6 on the ol pain scale

it was the same for me. I used Rub A535 which is a sports rub that heats up to soothe the pain away but I also slowly stretched the arm untill i felt the pain then stopped and kept doing that untill i had a good range of motion.

Are you hyperextending your elbow when you exercise? Sounds like an early tendonitis. Ice, heat, NSAIDS, rest. If you continue to have pain, you'll want to let it heal before continuing. It's probably a mechanical problem, too bad I can't see thru the monitor to coach you! One thing that you might try is to video yourself while exercising, sometimes you can catch errors in form that you wouldn't know about without a coach or trainer otherwise.

Yup I was thinking tendonitis which can just get worse and worse unless you let it heal up.

i vote the icy hot patch and some good rest.

I convinced my roomate to do it with me. We'll prolly start by the end of this month. I still need to purchase or rig up a pull up bar and get the program of course

I had that problem a while back thanks to playing Counterstrike (and using the computer) way too much using the wrong posture. The pain on my left hand was so severe, I couldn't move a finger for a few days, and I was afraid I'd never be able to play CS normally again. Thankfully the inflammation went away with plenty of rest.

Rest if it's tendonitis, it doesn't heal without it.

i started p90x months ago... after 2 weeks i dropped nearly 22 lbs. i stopped and now just go the gym religiously as i want to lift... but i still hit up the plyo, and ab ripper whenever i leave teh gym feeling like i could have "done a bit more" but the yoga will F*CK your shit up, i thought it would be the easiest one and it made me want to cry like a little bitch. best of luck!

I didnt pay for that shit. I bought some weights thats it. I dont do the pull ups I just do push ups while they do pull ups. Been doing this almost 2 weeks now and havnt lost any weight really, my weight fluctuates daily though between 200 and about 195. maybe Ive lost fat and gained muscle. Didnt feel lke doing the cardio today but I pushed myself.

Spidey you will in the beginning have a high progression rate, but i would think that the P90x needs to be done with a healthy diet, and if you wanna build faster just get more weight when youre lifting and do 4-7 reps and 3 sets :)

Indeed. More weight, less reps, more sets to build bulk. Me, I don't want to look like a body builder so it's lighter weights, more reps. You definitely need to eat correctly, that's the number one reason people quit this program. They get too tired and run down to continue...you DO need the carbs!

Feiffer (sp?) scissors is horrible, I agree. But I get a better workout with the Kenpo by far than the cardio disc, so I may start substituting that one and do two Kenpos a week...that one REALLY gets the heartrate up plus it is fun...I have a marital arts background so the combos are easy for me and it's a workout and a half.


The yoga is HAAAAAAAAAAARD! There are some poses in there that make you vibrate trying to hold them and want to scream from the pain, especially the ab section. Anyone who thinks yoga is for pussies, you need to try P90x yoga...you'd change your mind.

OK so looks like I don't get to work out for another week, and I am not allowed to do anything physical either.

So I have had a nasty cough for a while now and I did black out last week during a workout Which i thought was cause i wasn't eating enough.
My coughing fits have been getting worse and the more I cough the worse my head hurts and I get close to blacking out if the fit is bad enough so i go to the walk in clinic and wait for a doctor I go in to see him he asks me questions and then want to listen to me breath he takes his stethoscope and places it on my back and gets me to breath deep he say "hmm that's strange..!? take another deep breath" so i do and the little F*CKER punches me in the back I break out into a hysterical coughing fit and completely black out for like 3-5 secs. I have searing pain in my head and i can't see or hear for shit he tells me I have atypical pneumonia and hands me a prescription and sends me on my merry way.
Now here we have my medical history to thank for the next section Normal antibiotics don't like to work with me nor do standard narcotics so my prescription is for heavy duty ones I get the the pharmacy and spend $170 that my medical won't cover because they are non standard drugs............ RAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEEE

so no money, no p90x, I have nothing....
